Lupinus perennis
Wild Lupine has purple flowers in May-June that attract honeybees, bumblebees, and many other bee species.  Several species of caterpillars, including the Karner Blue Butterfly, use the foliage.  Wild Lupine prefers full sun, well-drained sandy soil, and is usually about 2’ tall.  Stunning in masses!
