Prairie Alumroot is a gem that should be used more often in the native garden! The flowers are small yet provide pollen & nectar to many bee species, especially green sweat bees. It prefers full to part sun, moist to dry soil, foliage to 1’, flowers to 2’.  Foliage turns reddish in the fall and stays colorful all winter long!
