Symphyotrichum prenanthoides
Prefers full to part sun, and medium-wet to average soil.  It has pale-purple flowers from August to October and is 2’-3’ tall.  Many native bee species visit Crooked Stem Aster, and it also attracts butterflies, skippers, and moths.
