Monarda bradburiana

Although not native to the Driftless Area, Bradbury’s Monarda is a delight in the landscape!  At 2’ tall, it’s shorter than the more common Wild Bergamot, yet it still attracts many pollinators.  Bradbury’s Monarda has light pink flowers from May-June and the foliage remains attractive after the flowers have faded.  It prefers full-part sun, average-dry soil.
